Nick was such a fabulous man. He helped us greatly in getting IFSTAL off the ground and always showed a lot of passion for innovative methods in education using all sorts of technologies. I remember well how his eyes lit up over a new cool app or software and how we laughed at my lack of enthusiasm for the same. It was wonderful to walk into his office and find a welcoming smile, often a chocolate and time for a chat. I felt sorry for his struggle with depression and was very impressed by his fortitude in dealing with it. I’m very saddened by his death – the world has lost a lovely and loving person. I will remember him fondly for his kind, generous, enthusiastic and warm nature. My condolences to his family; my heart goes out to them at this difficult time.
