Kamola-opa, it is still hard to believe that you are no longer with us.  On this Thanksgiving, I am thinking of you – with a deep gratitude for our friendship and the small and big ways your kindness and care has impacted my and my family’s lives. Your energetic and caring voice, your smile, your incredible stories, and your even more incredible actions all come to mind daily.  Your spirit lives on dear Kamola, in all of us, in the way you brought us together, to dance, cook, share our culture, love nature, and love each other and community.  Miss you very much.  Yours, Zika and all our family.
