So sorry for your loss. Jamie was a good friend as well as a colleague — we always had a laugh in the office, even when we were in the middle of a debate. He truly lit up the office every time he was in, and was the person you’d go to when you needed a laugh, some advice, or just someone to listen. He was always so helpful and supportive, sharing his knowledge of trees and harvesting so generously, and always happy to help in any way he could. He spoke about his family so often and with such pride that I feel like I know them deeply. My dog Nellie adored him, and we even had an inside joke about getting her to recognise him as “creepy uncle Jamie,” which always makes me smile. He will be greatly missed, and the office isn’t the same without him. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
