I met Nick eighteen years ago at my interview to join the RVC. We had many shared aspirations to take education out to those at a distance and we worked closely to achieve that vision. Nick made major contributions to the developments of distance and online learning at the RVC and helped to reach out to veterinarians all over the world. The impact he has created is far and wide. Nick was full of ideas and great enthusiasm. Always had time to listen others and offer solutions, an inspiring colleague who helped me in many different ways. As we both lived in Reading we had time to enjoy our friendship with Nick and Malla and assumed we will get back together after lockdown. I am so saddened to hear that he is gone and I hope Malla and family will find comfort knowing that he made a difference to many lives. I will always remember him.
