As a Brownie,  aged 7, I promised to do my duty to God and the Queen. It has been an honour to keep that promise for over 6 decades. I have also been a member of the Mothers’ Union and proud that the Queen was our Patron. What a marvellous example she has been of a wonderful Christian woman, a wife, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother whilst dutifully serving our nation . Thank you, Ma’am. May you rest in peace and rise in glory.
