One of the very last gifts that Patricia had passed on to me was last July, on my then 60th birthday, whilst staying as a guest in her Binissalem home. Inside abirthday present envelope were 2 items – a £50 note towards a luxurious massage as a treat, and Brahma Kamari gift card which read:

‘ADVENTURES:The wonder of life fills me as I look to new horizons’.

Patricia’s card has since rested proudly on my fridge and serves as a constant reminder to me, to fill myself up with the joys of life!

In fact, the abundance of gifts Patricia softly offered to me will always stay deep inside my heart – her welcoming nature and generosity in making me a part of her family; a curiosity about my life and a willingness to listen; the way in which her eyes sparkled up in our many conversations together, and in fact, watching them sparkle as she talked to others we happened to be with; her laughter; her competitive, fair and friendly spirit and the love she had for all of us.
