Dad
Firstly, I want to say how much I love you and how much I’m going to miss you.
The day we found out the news my heart sank but your stubborn steallyness to get through this and be there for your kids and Grandchildren was immediately apparent, you never let anyone feel sorry for you or get you down. You went through a lot and and I know having Mum by your side and having your back at all times drove you to get where you did. You showed us all the strength and determination to battle through and never give up right to the end. Everyone can’t believe what you accomplished during this time!
Growing up I will always have engrained weekend fishing trips especially the time I lost that Pike. The way you could turn your hand at anything until you mastered it, your numerous hobbies even the more stranger ones but I know what they meant to you. Your work ethic, the respect people had for you, your advice to strive and be the best we can be, your selflessness and generosity, your cheeky humour and getting to stay up late on a Friday watching movies that probably weren’t suitable, your taste in music, and the love for us all as we grew, met partners and had your Grandchildren I know you loved all of them.
You will be in our hearts forever and we will never forget you!
your son
