I only met Grace a handful of times throughout the years – and more so lately online during various graduate workshops and events – but she always made a great impression. She was a very kind, warm-hearted individual who always had an insightful perspective and useful advice to give on any subject you approached her with. I was glad to have her as a brief mentor at the start of my PhD supervisory journey and was pleased to see her make the very same high impressions on my own PhD students. I am deeply saddened by her loss. My thoughts go out to Grace’s family.
