Dan Pearson

Dan and I were close colleagues at Grampian in the late 1990’s when I was MD of the agricultural division. He will , I am sure , always be remembered by his colleagues on the senior team as the epitome of professionalism. He always gave wonderful wise counsel , from a scientific knowledge base way above our heads , in a clear and understandable manner . I can honestly say that in all the years I knew him , he never once lost his cool , calm , analytical, rational and good humoured demeanour. We had business interests in a bio technology company based out of Johns Hopkins University at the time , initiated by Dan , and it was my pleasure to spend time with him in Baltimore as a friend on several occasions, enjoying a breakfast in a street diner or sharing a couple of sundowners at the end of the day . – Wonderful man, taken ridiculously early ..I hope someone can make sense of it …

Good on ya mate
