I feel very lucky to have known and worked with Aussie. Whilst he was always focused on the job in hand, he had a genuine compassion and kindness for those around him. Even in tough situations Aussie would find a way to make people smile and make the job fun. Whilst Aussie was a leader and colleague, I also considered him to be my friend. Aussie was without doubt one of a kind and I will miss him.
