Just this weekend, I received a Facebook memory reminding me that it was 6 years since we watched England host Scotland at Twickenham together. Like many I was shocked and saddened to hear of your passing and I’m so very sorry that I won’t get another chance to enjoy your company. I learned so much from you. You were a generous manager whose time and enthusiasm gifted me growth and development, and I’ll be eternally grateful to you. My deepest condolences to your wife and children, of whom you spoke so endearingly and often. I hope they find some peace and comfort in reading of the admiration so many had for you.
