I did not know Andrew well, but we joined a training course together last year and had an opportunity to chat one-on-one. It was clear how much he cared for his work and his colleagues, and how much he wanted to help the more junior members of his team progress and learn. I remember thinking that anyone working for Andrew was very lucky. We also talked about the madness of lockdown, and he mentioned that one good thing to come out of it was that he could spend more time with his family. I can see from all the comments from his friends and colleagues just how much he will much missed, and send my condolences to his family at such a difficult time.
