We will really miss you Nick. Amanda knew you for longer than I did but in the four years that I knew you I proudly called you my friend. You were a gentleman and the most true of senses and always supportive of my running and it was my absolute pleasure and honour to run with you on that cold December Sunday morning to help you complete your goal. What you did in the face of your own adversity was nothing short of heroic and you will always hold that place in my mind and heart. I promise you Nick that I will always run for those who can’t, I will keep on banging the drum and flying the flag and I mean it when I say no finish line until there’s a cure.
