Joe was a wonderful person and colleague. Competent, intelligent, no egos and with a great sense of humour. We had met in several company gatherings, but I was fortunate enough to work closely together with Joe as teammates last Winter. Despite the challenges and intensity of our project, we had some good loughs and chats about family as well. His care and love for his family was obvious and so was his natural curiosity. I keep those moments very close to my heart. I wish we had met more times in person…My sincere condolences to Joe’s family. He was a special person.
