Richard Croucher

I was a new boy at the Royal Hospital School when Rick was in his final year. I remember well his practicing the saxaphone, audible throughout the boarding house and he played at the sixth form concert. He had a deep knowledge of the Blues, particularly British Blues, and through Phil I was introduced to the likes of John Mayall, early Fleetwood Mac, and Eric Clapton. It kindled a love of music which all these years later has never left me, so I have much to thank him for. Bon Voyage!
