David had a rare ability to navigate complex challenges with calm assurance, always maintaining the highest standards. His professionalism was evident in every aspect of his work, particularly in his leadership of EIA projects, where his technical expertise and strategic insight delivered fantastic results for his clients.

David’s friendly warm spirit and willingness to support others in the Planning & EIA team, especially junior members, always created a positive and collaborative environment when he was involved. He had a gift for communication being able to take complex, technical subjects and explain them with clarity and simplicity. In my 25+ years’ experience I honestly don’t think I have met anyone as skilled at this as David.

David leaves a lasting impact on all in the Planning & EIA team and the wider SLR business who had the privilege of working with him. He will be deeply missed by me personally and by SLR.
