David Parr
I don’t know where to start, as I am still in shock with the sad news of Dave passing away. Dave has not just been a work colleague but a dear friend to me, having known him from the time he started at the BSC its very hard for me to put all my words into this. Dave was kind, considerate , compassionate man with a great sense of humour and you always knew when you spoke to him he would put a smile to your face. He saw me as a mini version of Salah ( was in the office with a beard one day and Dave looked at me for a minute and said” you know you look like Salah” ). Since then he would send me pictures of Salah and I would have great banter with Dave every time we spoke. Liverpool FC called me asking about us auditing them and remember putting the phone down and ringing Dave straight away to let him know. His first words were “ there is no way anyone else is going to do this but me, they better not upset me and get me on it !”. I wont ever forget Dave , and he will always be in my heart and memories and hearing of his sudden passing away was probably one of the hardest and saddest days I have had at the BSC in the 20 years I have been here. Dave has left me with so many good memories and he was someone that I will always cherish through my life.
