I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for having the privilege of knowing Neel whilst we were colleagues at KPMG. We joined the firm within days of each other and worked together for close to a decade. Our paths crossed repeatedly through ups and downs of our careers, but throughout Neel proved to be a true friend and gentleman. He was always warm and welcoming and in time we found each other to be confidants when things were going well and when things were tough. I’ll forever remember Neel’s wedding day and meeting Dilan and his whole family; I was truly delighted for him for finding someone truly special. I’m forever thankful for his friendship, his wisdom and his open heart and mind. He was never satisfied with the status quo and was always looking for the next thing to improve. For the past decade I had witnessed him grow as a person, as a man of responsibility and as a mentor and guide to many colleagues. He was always there for those who needed his help and guidance, and it is his passion for developing others that stands out to me today as something I’ll always remember him by. This and his lovely smile and beautifully kind disposition to those around him. Neel, I very much miss you, may your soul rest in peace.
