I was terribly shocked and saddened to hear the news of Sandy’s passing. I have known Sandy for a long time and there was never a day passed when I saw him that he didnt have a lovely smile on his face.  He was a gentleman in every sense of the word and always had a kind word to say for everyone.  We had many a chat in the Facilities office and his sense of humour shone through every time. It was always a pleasure when he popped in. My most sincere condolences to Sandy’s family and friends and colleagues who worked closest with him.  Your loss will affect many people. May you rest in perfect peace. x…

I met Sandy in 2007 when I joined Worley, at that time he was working on Sakhalin II project. He was nothing but always with a smile, always cheerful, happy person. I even remember when his first son was born… Sandy runs out of the meeting room shouting: “ I am having a baby”! And we all screamed back: “ Go, Sandy, get your baby “! Then I remember he nearly fainted, but after a few minutes he left for the hospital. It was a shock to the system to hear that Sandy is no longer with us … My deepest condolences to you and all the family. In loving memory of Sandy, a person whose kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be so missed.   Agne Lukoseviciene…

Nearly three years ago I joined Worley in Brentford and immediately met Sandy. We worked together in the S-OIL SHAHEEN FEED and was impressed by Sandy’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and ability to tackle multiple challenges. Sandy was known as “The Machine” and this referred not only to work but his appetite for keeping fit. The S-OIL Project created a strong bond as at the Client’s insistence we had to attend the Office even though we were still subject to COVID restrictions. This team bond was evident across both the Koreans from S-OIL and Worley staff. Sandy was ever present in leading our controls and reporting but also a key part of the many project social events that included events at the Express Tavern, the Korea National Day visit to the Korean Cultural Centre and London Tour concluding with a Korean Dinner, a Burn’s Supper, London Irish rugby games and the Kew Bridge to Hampton Court cruise that followed part of the route of Sandy’s commute. Following the S-OIL Project Sandy and I were reunited on to the Northvolt Project. Again, a strong team spirit was created, and Sandy was a key part of that and developing good relationships with a…

Sandy my friend, thank you for coming into my life and giving me the privilege to work with you on many projects. You are one of the reasons I am still in Project Controls, you mentored me and was an amazing manager. Thank you for calling us the #dreamteam I will not forget your hashtags and your humour at work which made us think we can get through the even the toughest days. You made workplace feel like home. You are such a driven professional but knew how to balance your character at a personal level. Every project you were placed on has profited in many ways. Not sure if I will ever accept your loss but I will never forget you. Miss you Sandy. xxx May God give your beautiful family strength. …

I was shocked to hera the news, I first met Sandy in 2010, working for Worley on the SVT project for bp, Sandy was a very decent Guy and pleasure to work with, I god bless him RIP Sandy….

I had the absolute privilege to have known Sandy for over 20 years, on projects, corporately, through training courses, but more importantly as a fellow supporter of the mighty Blues. Always a true professional in his work, great sense of humour, kind, patient, considered – just a thoroughly nice person. He will be very missed by me personally and by all who knew him at Worley, WorleyParsons and Parsons E&C. I can not even think about the pain and the grief you, as his family, must be going through, it seems futile to say that my thoughts and condolences are with you, but of course they are. All I can say is that I feel myself extremely lucky to have known Sandy, as well as I did, over such a long time. Rest in Piece my dear friend and keep the blue flag flying up there.  …

I was deeply saddened to hear the news about Sandy. I still could not believe it. I have known Sandy since I joined the EACOP project. And he was bright and so energetic person. He never gave up and showed us the best example of kindness and positivity. Exactly the person he will always be in my heart….

I will never forget the first time I met Sandy at the Jacobs Winnersh office and how kind he was to me and supportive of the role of a Project Administrator. That initial first impression was only the beginning and as I got to know him I saw just how he would go out of his way to help everyone around him. We have lost someone very special.   My thoughts and wishes are with his family at this difficult time….

When I learned of Sandy’s passing, I was saddened by the news. Having Sandy as a peer whilst working at Worley was a great privilege. Sandy was cool, calm and collected. He never missed anyone’s leaving drinks or after work catch ups at the pub. Was great for a chat and a laugh and always shared funny stories of his children. I have very fond memories working with Sandy and regard him as a friend. Sandy touched so many lives in the very best way. I’m grateful I got to know him as a colleague and a friend. Gone too soon.  May your beautiful soul rest in eternal peace! To Sandy’s family – I wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time and hold you close in my thoughts and prayers.  May you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared together, and may his memory bring you peace….

Sorry to hear of Sandy passing away. I knew Sandy from the Sakhalin project and supported various major projects, including bid proposals. He was always very polite manner and handled requests with a calm and measured approach.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. …

Firstly, I would like you say how extremely saddened and sorry I am about the loss of a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this devastating time. When I think of Sandy it brings a smile to my face. Having known him for close to 20 years I consider him a friend rather than a colleague. He was such a genuinely nice and caring guy which I’ve read mentioned numerous times on here says it all. We had many things in common from keeping fit to our children who are of similar ages. I have so many fond memories of Sandy from hanging out in his office during the Sakhalin project days, to going to see a Chelsea game with our sons. The constant banter between us about how many push ups we could do and our ‘dad jokes’. Worley will never feel the same for me now that he’s not here. Rest in peace my friend. Mani Grewal…

Words can hardly capture the depth fo sorrow we feel upon learning of your loss. I have only worked with Sandy on 1 project, which was S-OIL, over the lockdown. Just like what other messages described, Sandy was an absolute gentleman, hard-working, wise, with a great sense of humour, and calm. S-OIL was a tough job, could be first of the type for a few things, at Worley worldwide. He had a huge scope on S-OIL, still on EACOP, and also the project controls manager for the London office. But Sandy was always on top of things, with a nice manner. He’s the Worley Colin Firth in my opinion, and a great manager, which I have told him, before I finished up on the job. I have seen Sandy a couple of times after, in my office, when he’s in Glasgow for Northvolt and visiting family. He looked great and fit as always. It was absolutely shocking to hear about this sad news.  I am so sorry for your loss. May the love and memories you shared bring you confort in the days ahead. To Sandy’s family, I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Sandy. Over the 15 years of working with him on many projects, I witnessed firsthand not only his professionalism but also his kindness and genuine care for everyone around him. His daily cycling to work truly inspired me to be more active. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. …

I am really sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing, he was a wonderful, well respected colleague. He was a real gentlemen and he was brilliant at his job and really well respected. He was an ocean of calm in the hustle and bustle of project work at the same time, really enthusiastic. Sandy was so hard working, but that was coupled with a great sense of humour. He was also fundamentally a really nice person, he always greeted everyone with a joyful “good morning”. I worked alongside Sandy on the S-Oil SHAHEEN project and also on the Northvolt project. He worked so hard and long on the S-Oil project that he earned himself the nickname “The Machine” . Sandy always kept himself really fit, running, cycling, etc. I think he also mentioned (in passing) on one project social boat trip on the river that he did rowing as well. Sandy often arrived in the office in his light blue lycra cycling outfit and cycling helmet. My thought and condolences go out to his wife and family at this most difficult time….
