In Loving Memory of

Rosemary Wanjiku Kangangi

Celebrating the life of Rosemary Wanjiku Kangangi

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of our loving and caring Mama (Rosemary) who transitioned on the 30th January 2021 after bravely battling with ill health. Mama was a beloved mother, nana, sister, auntie and friend to many. Her departure has left us bereft of her love, kindness, warmth, integrity and colourful, vibrant sense of humour.

As we can’t be together at this time to celebrate a life well-lived with family and friends, we welcome you to share your messages and memories of Mama (Rosemary) here.

Best wishes,

Rosemary’s (Mama) family

When I think of Aunty Rosemary, I think about kindness. She had a way of speaking with people in a kind and respectful way. May Aunty Rosemary rest in peace and I pray that God will give the family and friends divine strength in Jesus’s Name. …

Mama was a great friend who was more than a sister to me. I counted on her for her wise words, laughter  and encouragement in difficult moments. She was a beacon of love to her family unit and joy to all. We were a family and I will continue being there to support her family.  Thank you my dear friend for having such an impact on my life and making it rich with love. I will never forget the vacations we had gone together. Sleep well my dear, till we meet again….

Rosemary (mama), you left us to be with The Lord. To be absent in the body is to be present with Jesus Christ. I thank God that you lived in your purpose. Your purpose was fulfilled. You left behind memories in the minds of people that can never be erased.   After your departure, only words of love, kindness, giving, and different testimonies about you are in the air. People are pondering about love and being kind to each other. We are living in the dispensation of love. The word of God says love is greater than any other thing. The attributes of love are all we saw in you Rosemary. May your life be a reminder to us that we should live in love. The Bible requires us to walk in the Spirit which is to walk in love. Your legacy of love is a book we all read in you and will cherish as we practice loving people and being kind to them in our lives. Thank you for walking in love, demonstrating and representing our Lord Jesus who is love. He loved and gave and expects us to do the same. You have done well. Rest in…

I have never met Mama personally. But I felt I knew her through Caroline and the rest of the family. I heard them talk and speak about Mama when she was in the hospital. From then on I knew she meant a lot to them and I could sense that Mama was special and loved her family. Therefore, I want to offer my condolences and sympathy to the entire family. I know this is a difficult time for you all, but this was all part of God’s plan. God plans every detail of everyone’s life he leaves nothing to chance. God doesn’t put anyone through anything they cannot deal with or have the tools, support or ability to cope. I pray that God sustains Mama’s family and gives them strength and comfort that surpasses human comprehension. I know we all feel Mama was taken too soon but it was God’s plan to have his angel back by his side now. God sent Mama to us, to fulfil her purpose in life. Mama full filled her purpose and what God had planned for her. Mama went above and beyond with her kindness, generosity and caring ways, believing in God and…
