In Loving Memory of

Mark Andrew Wilson

Mark was born on 17th June 1968 and sadly left us on 4th February 2026 following a courageous battle against aggressive prostate cancer.

Mark made many friends over the years and the family would love them to share a memory or a story about Mark – how they knew him, something he said or did that stayed with them, a nickname or a funny story (there are probably a lot these as Mark loved to make people laugh!).

Mark will be missed by so many people. Even those he met briefly remember him for his sense of humour and kindness. Your messages and memories will bring comfort to the family, knowing how well thought of Mark was and how much he was loved.

Thank you.

Alison and all the Wilson family

Mark,   I first knew you as a crazed guy propping up a bar with his brother! You then became my Brother-in-Law and were one of a kind! Gonna miss your cheeky smile and mischief making….

RIP Mark Wilson. I want to tell you that when you call me “boss” it cringes me out, you trained me so I will always look up to you. Mark you taught me that being a good ambulance man is more than what you can read in a book it’s about how you treat people with kindness, care and respect. it’s about talking to friends when things get to you and being true to yourself. It’s about understanding we were all born innocent and that every patient has their own story. For that I truly thank you. Your shift is done now boss, we will take it from here. X…

I first knew you when we were about 7 years old….you were one-of-kind, with a heart of gold and a great sense of humour. You were always kind and caring underneath that mischevious side. It was an honour to be invited to say goodbye to you today and hear all the amazing things that people had to say about you. Gone far too soon but never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend, we’ll all miss you so much xx        …
