Marco, I’m still in shock and want to offer my heartfelt condolences to your family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. I had the pleasure of working with you for around 18 months at PokerStars Sports, the world’s premier sporting website 😊, and I will always remember how warmly you welcomed me into the team. You took the time to show me the intricacies of content management and shared your passion for Italian sport and, of course, Napoli 😊. We shared some great times together, often accompanied by the odd beer and plenty of laughs. You will be truly missed, and I’ll be sure to raise a glass in your memory. Until the next time….

Ciao Marco, ci sono persone che entrano nelle nostre esistenze in modo diverso, con alcune ci passiamo gran parte della nostra vita, con altre ci accompagnamo per una parte del nostro percorso,  percorriamo un tragitto insieme o ancora ci incrociamo per una frazione di tempo. Ma non è mai soltanto il numero di anni, mesi, ore, secondi, l’unità di misura  di un’amicizia… ci sono persone che per qualche ragione ti lasciano qualcosa nel cuore e quando pensi a loro, il primo ricordo che ti viene in mente è spesso l’essenza di ciò che la loro presenza ti ha lasciato, in quei momenti che hai condiviso con lei. Di te, la prima cosa che mi viene in mente è il tuo sorriso, la tua capacità di entrare in empatia con il prossimo, la tua gentilezza e la tua capacità di trasmettere serenità a chi ti stava davanti. C’è stato un periodo in ufficio in cui si andava spesso a pranzo tutti insieme, si scherzava, si parlava di calcio e ogni tanto parlavamo di Milano, la città che avevamo in comune. Sembra tutto così lontano, adesso. Il tempo scorre e ci sfugge di mano. Anche l’ultima volta che ci siamo incrociati…

Marco will always be remembered by all of us. A cheerful, positive man, always willing to help, and if he didn’t know how, he would find out with us. I can say that Bove’s mission with me was complete, and I will carry many lessons with me into eternity. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family. May they have strength, positivity, and continue moving forward, always remembering the incredible man Bove was to everyone around him. I had the pleasure of working more closely with Marco over the past 2 years and it was truly a joy. His constant positivity, good mood and big smile made our transition from Pokerstars to Betfair much easier. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. Caro Marco, Non so neanche da dove iniziare questo messaggio e ancora oggi non riesco a trovare un senso a quello che è successo.. Molti ricorderanno di te la serenità con cui affrontavi ogni giornata, il tuo modo di essere sempre calmo ed equilibrato. Io però porterò con me soprattutto la tua voglia di fare, di esplorare, di riflettere sulla vita e sulle sue mille sfaccettature. Sempre pronto a dire una buona parola, a offrire un consiglio prezioso, con quella naturalezza che solo le persone speciali hanno. Ricordo i primi anni in ufficio: tu professionista esemplare… io un po’ meno 😄. Le sfide a ping-pong, le pause caffè, la goliardia di quei momenti, ma soprattutto le volte in cui ci vedevamo fuori dal lavoro: qualche partita a padel, una birretta per commentare quello che era successo in giornata e riderci su..tanti ricordi che ora riaffiorano all’improvviso, tutti legati da un filo comune: il tuo sorriso e la tua voce. L’ultima volta che ci siamo visti abbiamo passato una serata bellissima, tutti insieme come non succedeva da un po’. Abbiamo parlato tanto, ci siamo scambiati pensieri, opinioni, idee su quello che sarebbe venuto. Mi hai raccontato dei tuoi progetti, dell’entusiasmo…
