We’ve never managed to meet in person with Julie but we talked every week via emails, phone or Teams video calls. We laughed, argued, exchanged tips and experiences. Julie was so caring, happy to help, extremely professional, funny, sparkling with energy. She was a strong and independent woman, an inspiration for many. I am grateful I got the chance to know her and won’t forget her various pieces of advice when I am next in Scotland. Julie will be missed but never forgotten. I sadly never got the chance to meet Julie in person but whenever I spoke to her I always felt better after doing so. She was so kind, fun and caring, and always so helpful. Nothing was ever too much and she took pride in everything she did – she was a very special person. The first thing I noticed about Julie was her smile and the cheeky sparkle in her eyes.  I only knew Julie for a relatively short period of time but she made such an impact – funny, quick witted, tenacious and kind.  She cared deeply and didn’t suffer fools.  I’m so very sorry for your loss; it was such a terrible shock to hear of her passing, I know that it will have been even more difficult for loved ones.  Julie is definitely not forgotten and may she rest in peace.  Sending sincere condolences to all her friends and family…

Julie made everyone’s day happier.  She smiled and laughed her way through life. Whether it was a Dr Who story or something someone had done to annoy her or a funny cat story – she always managed to make me laugh.  I had the pleasure of speaking to Julie almost every day as she was my PA and we spent half our time joking and half our time scrambling to sort my diary! As a PA she was attentive, responsive, caring, understanding and dedicated. So many times when I was travelling over the weekend she would be checking in to see if the travel arrangements were working – that was her level of dedication.  So many people’s lives are poorer without Julie but every day she lives on in the positive impact she had on us all. I hope her family take comfort in the kindness, fun, care and energy she brought to all our lives.  Rest in peace Julie and thank you….

I only knew Julie since recently. She wrote to me for the first time in the summe of 2022, helping me plan interactions with my fellow future partners at GT. Since then, I knew her for her kindness and a happy and jovial nature. She became my EA 6 months ago and very quickly I realized that my initial views on her lovely character only scratced the surface of who seh really was, her empathy, care and concern. I know she loved Wine and during my recent trip to Rome, I forgot to bring her a bottle of Gavi. I didnt forget thought and just before Christmas sent her two of my Fav bottles. I hope she drank it, if not then I will find solace in that I was able share a happy moment with her over the holidays.  On Shanti, and I know she will be looking down at all of us with the same care and love, we had the good fortune of expriencing. …
