I wish he had been able to follow his desire to take a break from the stress of boxing, but he always told me how clubs were calling him and how he never liked to let anyone down. Even if he could not attend a show himself, he would always ensure a replacement—just as he did last weekend. Dr. Jim’s dedication, kindness, and selflessness touched us all. He was more than a boxing colleague to all of us in the boxing community. His absence will leave a great void, and I and my boxing colleagues will miss him deeply. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience and strength to his family and loved ones during this difficult time….

I drove with a heavy heart today to the department.  Saw the chair and the computer being empty You were one of the guiding Pillar of this whole city/MMUH family. We had a Godfather Son relationship at work where we loved and not loved each other in those eighteen years of working together. You were the real Godfather of my son.
