I was truly saddened to hear of James’ passing. I had the great pleasure of working with him at BTG and as well as being an extremely talented and professional member of the team it was always good to spend time with him. He always had time for a chat, whether about work, cars, golf or whatever the topic of conversation might be. He was definitely one of the good guys and he will be missed. My thoughts are with James’ family at this time. …

I worked with James at BTG, on his visits to the London office he would often sit at the hot desk next to me. He was a great neighbour to have on those days. James was kind, empathetic, a great listener, gave good advice, was incredibly supportive, and made time for everyone. It was a privilege to have known and worked with him for the time I did. I send my thoughts and deepest sympathy to James’s family and friends at this awfully sad time. …

I was saddened and shocked when I heard of your passing James.  You were a guiding light of kindness and support and touched the lives of many with your unwavering dedication.  Despite the daily demands, James, you always made time to lend an ear and extend a helping hand. You were dedicated to embodying Catalent’s core values and promoting engagement, fostering a positive atmosphere at the site in all that you did.  The outpouring of memories shared by those who knew you James has been astonishing and the recurring theme in each story is how caring, supportive, inspiring, and helpful you were. Although I still find it difficult to accept that you are no longer physically with us, your spirit will forever remain with us.   James, it has been a real privilege to know and work with you.    Rest peacefully, knowing that the impact made during your time with us will never fade, thank you for the difference you made, we are extremely grateful.    My heartfelt condolences to your wife and beautiful girls, who you loved to show pictures of and talk about….

I had the privilege and pleasure of working with James at BTG.  Always professional, fun, caring and skilled he managed to light up rooms in his inimitable and humble way… and the rooms he walked into remain lit.   Few people leave that legacy.  Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.  …

I was truly saddened to hear of James passing.  James, you will be deeply missed by all who knew you. A kind soul with so much support & love to give everyone.    I remember when I was the only girl competing on the charity bike ride from Farnham to London. James noticed how nervous & unsure of whether I could do this venture. He said to me “ Aicha you can do this, you’ve done the prep, I can see how determined you are and I will be here in the van driving alongside supporting you, don’t let fear get in the way, you can do this!   At the finish line, James came up to me and said ‘I knew you could do this & you should be so proud of yourself’ he gave me the courage to complete the race.    Sending my condolences to loved ones he left behind & wishing the family strength and support during this difficult time….
