Dear Anna,I was so saddened to hear this news. I often look back with happiness on our time together as ‘roomies’ at Pinewood. You had such a passion for your work and a determination to make a difference that I know impacted widely across the trust; with our staff, with carers and with people who use our services. I remember the energy you had and the way you always had time to help others. I still have my first Heuchera – a gift from your garden – because you said even I could successfully look after this plant, you were right, I have and it will now continue to grow with more significance in my garden as a reminder of you. Rest in Peace Anna and know that your are so fondly remembered….

So truly upsetting to know that you are no longer here, but know that you left an everlasting memory in my mind and many others. Anna, we met nearly 16 years ago and the first thing that came to my mind was- WOW she’s passionate about the work that she is doing, how kind and caring she is and with such ease she carries herself. And this memory fluttered in like a little butterfly when I heard that you were no longer with us. I will never forget you, because you taught me so much, the patience that you showed everyday despite challenging times, is something I live by. I send all my prayers of peace to your family at this very difficult time. Rest in Peace Anna……

I am so sorry to hear of Anna’s passing.  Anna was of quiet character but so eloquent in her commitment to supporting our carers.  Strangely, it was only the other day I noticed her book in my bookcase and reflected on how she taught me so much in my early days in Oxleas.  A beautiful spirit who will be sadly missed.  …

I was lucky to work with Anna when she volunteered her services to our team to help keep our exercise classes running when we required an assistant in the class. It was an absolute pleasure working with Anna who was always lovely, smiley and willing to help in any way she could to us as the clinician and to the patients themselves. She was also a wonderful person to listen to at lunch breaks with her wisdom and knoweldge, which she was always so keen to expand on in trying to learn new skills. She was a great asset to our team and Anna will be sorely missed by many I am sure. All my best wishes are with her family and friends in this time. I’m honoured to have known you. …

So sad to read this news. In my earlier days in Oxleas, we worked together on a project for carers and Anna’s commitment and support for carers was inspirational. She helped me to consider my own needs and feelings when I became a carer. My memories of Anna are her gentle, kind and thoughtful manner and I will continue to remember her for those qualities.  My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time xxx…

Dear Anna It was such sad news to hear of your passing.  Beneath your quiet, gentle and kind exterior, was a strength, a steely determination and a resilience which allowed you to be a tireless champion and supporter for all carers.   You were a kindred spirit in the fight for social justice as you supported the efforts of social care staff in Greenwich (and across the Trust) to raise the profile of social inclusion within the organisation.  Your big heart, empathy and generosity of spirit will be missed by all who knew you. Although your family will have hearts heavy with grief right now, I know they will find solace in knowing that you are now at peace.  I am confident there will be much comfort found for your husband and your daughter in remembering the joyous occasions you all shared, the laughter that filled the room when you were present and the love you showered on them.  Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and your beautiful spirit will endure.  Goodnight and God Bless Juliana …

Dear Anna, I was sorry to hear of your passing. You had a calm and quiet nature and a gentle welcoming smile. Your connection with carers came naturally to you because you was able to relate. Your husband and daughter were your world. Thank you for being present at your stall, supporting events alongside Social Inclusion staff in Greenwich Adult Community Mental Heath, so long ago. May you rest in eternal peace. My thoughts and condolences goes out to Anna’s family and friends during this difficult time.   …

Very sorry to hear about Anna’s passing.  I met Anna whilst working in the Patient Experience team at Oxleas.  She was always incredibly friendly and kind.  When my mum was struggling with her hands being cold and feeling rather stiff, Anna knitted her some gloves (or hand warmers actually) to give to my mum.  I hadn’t asked her to do this, but this showed her kind and thoughtful personality.  …
