I am deeply shocked and saddened by the news of Diane’s passing, she was a highly valued colleague who was wise, witty and generous with her guidance. It is my absolute pleasure to have known Diane for 14 years.  We worked closely together for the majority of that time and she was the most wonderfully kind and caring person.  She always had time for me, be it work related or personal.   To all her family, you were so blessed and you have my deepest, heartfelt sympathy….

I first interacted with Diane when I moved into my new role at the beginning of lockdown in 2020. Ever since, I had many virtual interactions with her but mostly remotely and with every interaction I was amazed to observe her kindness, warmth and considerate nature. When I visited London last November, I was so keen to meet her in person (on Day 1 of my visit) but alas I did not get any chance. There are very few people who leave such lasting impression on individuals even without having met in person – and she was one of them. Diane will remain in our hearts forever. My deepest condolences to Diane’s family in this difficult time. I had the rare privilege to interact with Diane on a close and regular basis, as she was sitting next to me when traded risk became part of her world. It was a great pleasure to have known Diane, as she always had the time to listen, showed genuine warmth and had a great sense of humour. I was hoping that after the lockdown when we all returned to our old places that we’d resume our acquaintances, but alas that was not to be. But at least I will have some very fond memories….
