In Memory of

David Houston

All of us from Glasgow Islay AFC were deeply saddened to learn of Davie passing away.

Davie was one of the first honourary Illeachs to join the club. Along with playing for the club he also became involved in running the team and was always our biggest supporter out with that.

He’ll be sorely missed by everyone associated with the club.

Please share any messages, memories or photos that you would like to share with Davie’s family.

Rest in peace Davie. One of the most genuine guys you’re most likely to meet who would do anything he could for his friends and family. Lots of fond memories from playing football, helping to run the club and nights out. One of kind who’ll be sorely missed….

Many happy memories with Davie from the Glasgow Islay days. Will remember his memorable visits to Islay and his motivational pep talks when we worked together at Capita. Also apparently the best snog my wife’s ever had! You’ll be sorely missed Davie.  Frazer and Suzanne …
