To all of Christian’s family, I cannot express how sad and sorry I am that Christian was taken from this world so soon. He was such a lovely young man when I knew him all of those years ago and I was not surprized to know that he had grown into an exceptional man. You are all in my heart and prayers. May you feel God’s love, peace and comfort until you are all reunited again. Love Ysanne…

Please be assured that our thoughts and sympathy are with you, and his colleagues at CMA.  Although I didn’t know Chris personally, I think I know something of the kind of person he was – dedicated to helping others, whether through his CMA work or on the street when someone was badly injured, and he had the skills to assist…  Many things in life are hard to understand, and we can only imagine what it must be like.  May you find peace in knowing that he gave his life for others and that his courage and selflessness are being spoken about and appreciated.  Philippians 1:23!  May you all prove comfort and grace.  “Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” the apostle Paul said to the Romans.  This is being done every day. Our hearts go out to you all. Alistair Brown Bridge Community Project…

awful awful news about Chris. One of my colleagues’ daughters was at the same church in Sheffield – and mentioned just how Chris was the first to make her so welcome, invite to his home etc. He clearly impacted so many in so many different ways….

I had the pleasure of working with Chris over a few months. He was incredibly generous with his time and skills. We have been setting up our own charity, and Chris was more than willing to share his knowledge and advice. A gentle kind and generous guy, who lived his faith every day without fanfare…

I’ve only been with a CMA organisation for 18 months but in that time I’ve had numerous contacts with Chris.  He was always so interesting, interested and willing to listen to different ideas on his IT projects.  His talk at the conference in October was very enthusiastic and enjoyable.  And it was so lovely to meet him in person after having had a few emails back and forth.  I was happy to join in with the testing for the Catalyst revamp and to offer my opinion on the changes being made.  His response was great, showing that he had really taken the time to consider my comments which made me feel like it was all a good use of my time.    I’m sorry for your loss and saddened that something so dreadful should happen to someone so lovely especially under the circumstances.  Stay strong….

I didn’t know you Chris, but your Christian love in action speaks volumes about the man you were. Matt 25:21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. Come and share your master’s happiness.’…
