Saddened to hear this news and my thoughts are with Ian’s family and colleagues. A natural and talented leader he was a fantastic advocate and communicator of the benefits of being outdoors, for nature and sustainability and the third sector. He offered wise counsel in challenging times, always willing to share his experience. He will be missed and his legacy should be carried forward with renewed vigour.
