I was deeply saddened to hear of Mandy’s passing. I can’t imagine the heartache you must be feeling right now. Losing a spouse is an unthinkable loss, and I know there are no words that can truly ease your pain. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family, and I am here for you in any way I can. Despite the distance, if you need someone to talk to, or a shoulder to cry on, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Mandy was a fun person to be around, and I will always cherish the memory of the time you both came to Santa Fe, especially when we got her to go on that hike that had the height challenges that I didn’t know she had. Even though she was nervous about the heights and the ladders, she faced the task with such grace and determination. I’m sure the love and support of your friends and family provide some comfort during this difficult time. I will always remember Mandy with fondness – she was taken too soon, and I wish I had gotten to know her better.
