This came as one of the most shocking news in recent years. My association with Simon started in 2013 and I had an opportunity to work with him on two very successful Indo-UK joint projects. The second Indo-UK project, which got over only a couple of months ago, was led by Simon from the UK side and myself from the Indian side. I was a huge admirer of Simon’s leadership quality, scientific temperament, and soft-spoken personality. We will miss you Simon!
