I worked closely with Chris on laser modeling for several years. We had many long chats about physics and life, and I was outmatched in both, though he was humble and kind enough not to let on about it. I was lucky to have known him and will miss our talks. I also had the pleasure of meeting Yuqing just recently. My heart goes out to her and George and the rest of Chris’s extended family. May he rest in peace.
