I was not fortunate enough to have worked closely with Betania, having first arrived in the department during Covid. However, she had a reputation in the department as an excellent histopathologist, and more importantly as a kind and patient colleague and teacher. My condolences to her family and friends. It is clear that she will be hugely missed.
