My self and Haragopal were school mates since LKG in Present Madapati Hanumantha Rao Girls High School, Narayanaguda and after completion of Primary School we both joined Keshava Memorial High School in Class V. We were together till completion of our High School studies in 1963. At the time of allotment of Optionals in class X during 1960, I was alloted Biological Science and Physical Science as per the marks scored in our class IX final exams and Haragopal was alloted Mathematics and Physical Science. Till our quarterly exams in class IX we continued and then started problem from our respective families to change our Optionals. Due to pressure in the families, we both approached our Head Master and changed our sections. I joined MPC and Haragopal BiPC then and completed our High School education in the year 1963.
I joined my B.Sc. in Arts & Science College, Secunderabad and Haragopal joined MBBS first year in Osmania Medical College.
Had we not changed our Optionals in Class X, what would have been happened I couldn’t imagine. Even this incident was referred by Haragopal during a ceremony at his home recently about a couple of years back.
Haragopal even visited me during my service in Secretariat at Hyderabad. Our friendship is as old as 70 years. Loosing Haragopal at this juncture is a unrecoverable. Think of him, I have to count my balance life.
