I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Dr Ann Roberts and would like to extend my condolences to
All her family and friends. She was one of my Consultant supervisors as an SpR when I worked in the perinatal
Service at the QE2 hospital in Welwyn garden city. I really enjoyed working with her and found her to be a very
humane and down to earth Psychiatrist who worked very well with her patients, families and colleagues. She
had a great mix of intelligence, warmth and humour and was very supportive to her trainees. In addition she
was a very good advocate for development of services e.g. in perinatal psychiatry and was energetic in all she did.
