Remembrance Book

Martin Cassels

Our hearts go out to Colin’s family on their loss, personally and from all at Galbraith.  Colin was a true gentleman and such a well respected member of the Rural team at Galbraith.  Always positive, jolly and with a great sense of humour which could lead to a fit of laughter on all sides, we shall miss him greatly.

One memory that will always last for me, caught on video and shared at the time to many, was the Great Glen Challenge in 2014 when Colin volunteered to take on the kayaking section.  On getting into the kayak for the first time and in front a large group of others, including myself and some of his fellow partners, he capsized – much to the hilarity of all those watching.  He took it in such good grace and humour, and undefeated he got straight back in to complete the challenge.

Rest easy Colin,

With fondest regards,

Martin
