Brad was very much liked and appreciated at his prior workplace. He not only impressed his French colleagues, with whom he generously and thoughtfully shared his expertise, but I’d often hear warm words for him across Europe and the US with whomever he worked. He will be remembered by many of us for his intellect, curiosity, and the strength of his convictions. Work aside, he was also a just pleasure to be around, and I fondly recall his good humored updates on the challenges of trying to buy an apartment in Paris.
