Dearest Betania,
It was such a pleasure to have known you as a friend and colleague. We joined the department together in 2001. We shared so many happy and interesting times over the years, chatting about work, family, holidays and dogs! I cherished these conversations.
I was privileged to have known you. As well as an excellent pathologist, you were such a beautiful person inside and out, so kind and so caring. Nothing was too much trouble. You were so brave in bearing your illness with great courage and resilience. When your name pops up on patient reports and we pass your office, it is difficult to imagine that you are no longer with us. You were taken too soon. We miss you terribly. You will remain in our hearts until we meet again.
