I was deeply shocked and at a loss for words upon hearing the sudden news of Dave’s passing.
We once worked together at the same company, sharing many hours side by side. Even after we had moved on, we would still meet up occasionally for a drink at the pub, and those moments—full of laughter and good conversation—are memories I will always cherish.
Dave often spoke of his children, Emma and Thomas, with such joy and pride. Every time he mentioned them, it was clear how deeply he loved and cared for them. His warmth and affection for his family were always evident and truly reflected the kind of person he was.
He once kindly took the time to give my daughter a lecture on project management in Nomura. It may have been a small gesture to him, but to us, it showed his generosity and his willingness to support and guide others. We were both deeply touched by his kindness and sincerity.
Dave’s smile, his sense of humor, his integrity at work, and above all, his devotion to his family—these are the things I will always remember and hold close.
I offer my deepest condolences and pray that his family finds peace and comfort in the days ahead.
