Louise Holden

I was devastated to hear of Ruth’s passing. I first met Ruth around 2015/6 when she was campaigning for Disabled survivors of hate crime, by raising awareness of hate crime with London DDPO staff. A few years later and I was being mentored by Ruth to set up and coordinate the London DDPO HC Partnership at Inclusion London, of which Ruth and Stay Safe East were a major contributor. I learned so much from Ruth, how to be assertive and compelling when doing representation work with the London Mayor’s Office of Police and Crime being one of the skills I picked up! I have so much respect for Ruth and the work she carried out, she will be very much missed. I send my heartfelt condolances to her family and friends. Rest in Power, Ruth. Your legacy will live on.
