Cleeve , you has always been driven by respect for others. Whenever I’ve had meetings with you since 20 years when i joined Horiba, that’s what emanates from your personality. A humanity and a genuine interest in the people you was dealing with and their problems. On a purely personal level, we had an African origin in common, which you always claimed, as I often do, to underline even more the universality of the values that transcend us all, such as listening and respect for the people with whom you worked, both in terms of content and form, and of which you was the most emblematic representative that I have ever come across in the Horiba group. Over and above the business aspects and the technical issues we dealt with together, this is what I will remember about you and the exemplary human values he demonstrated at each of our meetings.
