I was so saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. Linda was the very first person I met on my first day here in the London office (fresh off a flight from NYC…big office box in tow!) She made sure my office was all set up and that everything was in working order, she didn’t miss a beat. Linda also made sure to check in on me from time to time, make sure everything was going ok. I’ll miss our catch ups in the hallway and running into her grabbing a coffee at Foody’s during coffee breaks. She also helped me with some CSR and volunteering events set up (and didn’t even bat an eye when of course I asked for everything last minute….)
Linda made this expat feel immediately at ease in a new city with her warm welcome and cheerful / funny quips, and she was always willing to lend a hand and go the extra mile. To Linda’s family, sending my condolences and comfort during this time. Sincerely, Katy <3
