To Mary’s family I wish you peace, comfort and courage and lots of love at this time and I still can’t quite believe what has happened, I don’t think there is a day go by where I don’t think about her and often say to myself, what would Mary have to say about this ! .
I had the pleasure of spending some time with Mary at a recent award ceremony with colleagues from Aviva and I enjoyed every moment. Such a vibrant personality and so positive and passionate about the future and what we were building here at Aviva. What I admired about her was her drive and motivation to succeed. She was kind and very approachable.
She was extremely proud when talking about her family in particular her two boys and I easily related to her having two boys of my own. During the height of the pandemic Mary was very keen to make sure we were all ok and encouraged us all to stay safe with families. She brought us together at what was a difficult time.
Such a kind, beautiful person who will be sadly missed x
