It was my privilege to first meet Ashley when we sat together nearly two years ago at Fox Court. Such a wonderful person to be around. I always looked forwards going to go to the virtual ‘drop in’ lunch time seminars he helped organise. We shared a laugh after one of them when he told me that it looked like I was driving during the meeting – I explained I was sitting in the front seat of a stationary car at the time, so I could see why he said that. At one of our sittings soon after I started, the topic during a break got onto the variety of food stalls nearby in Leather Lane and Ashley recommended that I should try the Ethiopian restaurant. It was a great suggestion and we later enjoyed comparing notes. I will miss him very much, his good humour, and graciousness. To his family and loved ones, my sincere condolences.
