I can’t believe you’re gone Adrian,
I thought we are a really good team and I used to really enjoy our Monday morning calls. I was essentially the customer within our Collaboration, as I brought the money, but I always seemed to pick up all the actions at our regular 1-2-1s. How was that? :). The DfT-CPC collaboration has been held up as an exemplar of how a Government Department, which can be isolationist and perhaps feels safe hiding behind its high walls, and a technology agency can work closely together to get things done that others either are unable to or in fact cannot even begin to imagine. A lot of this is due to your hard work – building relationships, keeping the teams in CPC focused and of course bossing me about a bit. I really miss you and you have left some seriously big boots to fill in your work-space. The core of our relationship was trust and I think this is the foundation of all our success. You taught me a lot.
