Quite simply, Tom was a legend, both personally and professionally – he was extraordinarily kind, clever, witty, engaging and many, many things beside.
Above all, he had an unwavering belief in the power of football and sport to change lives, a passion which will continue to burn bright through both the work of Wigan Athletic Community Trust and across the CCO network.
On behalf of all at Saints Foundation and Southampton FC, we’re sending our sincere condolences to Tom’s family, friends and all at the Trust. He’ll be hugely and sincerely missed across our network, as well as by us all as a true friendand gentleman.
