Steve’s family and friends, i am so sorry for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Steve for a number of years in the same team. I still recall his first day and asking him “are you interested in sport?” “no” was his reply, at this point i thought what on earth am i going to talk about then! I needed not to worry, Steve liked to chat and we talked about everything. His love for his family was evident and he had pictures on his desk and was so proud of his family and what they had achieved and would talk so fondly of times together. Personally for me Steve always had time to listen, offered advice, always willing to help and always willing for a beer. He was funny and great fun to be around – if i can sum him up he was like a sort of brother to me and a ray of positivity.
