I first met David on BVA Council, and a friendship grew over the next few years as our paths crossed at the British Cattle Veterinary Association when I was President. It was so easy to know David- it was his nature to be open, welcoming and kind. He was one of those people who always had time for one, and took a genuine interest in one’s concerns. My sincere condolences to his family for their- and our- loss.
