Dens was one of the first people I met when I started at IOPP and I could tell instantly what a friendly and thoughtful person she was. I have worked with her regularly over the last 11 years, and she was always a delight to work with. Her calm and conscientious approach just made everything simpler and more enjoyable. Her sense of humour was excellent, and we always spent time chatting and laughing in our meetings, before finally having to discuss what we really should have been talking about! I was shocked to hear about her sudden passing, and will deeply miss speaking to her. She was one of a kind.
